HOLY HOUR THIS EVENING AT 7 pm
CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION FOLLOWING 8AM MASS
On Corpus Christi following the 8am Mass, we will have a Procession with the Blessed Sacrament in celebration of Corpus Christi. At the conclusion of Mass, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed in the monstrance, then after a short time of adoration, the procession will proceed out the side door of the church and walk around to the front of the church, then move between the rectory and office, behind the church, and finally reenter the church via the side door. Benediction will take place in the church. In total it will probably be about 30 minutes. All are invited to join in this public witness to the Real Presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist.

ST. PATRICK PARISH WELCOMES A SUMMER SEMINARIAN,
MR. RICHARD MCALISTER
Greetings, I am excited to spend this summer at St. Patrick’s Parish. While York is a new area to me, I am eager to explore and get to know the people and neighborhoods. Prior to attending Mount Saint Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD, I lived outside of a small town called McAlisterville, up in Juniata County. Before I was confirmed into the Catholic Church in 2016, I was a Conservative Mennonite. Shortly after leaving the Mennonite faith, I found myself visiting the Catholic Church and falling deeper and deeper in love with Her traditions.
Ever since I was a young child, I felt called to work in the Church, but as a Mennonite, I didn’t understand in what way. After becoming Catholic, I continued discerning that call as a call to the Diocesan Priesthood. I am currently in 2nd Theology with 3 years left of seminary formation until I am ordained, Lord willing. It would be a great joy to get to know each and every one of you during my time here this summer!
May God Bless You Seminarian Richard McAlister
